Dr Penny Wilson MBBS (hons) DRANZCOG (Advanced) FRACGP GAICD is a GP obstetrician from Broome whose clinical work straddles the worlds of primary care, emergency medicine and hospital obstetrics. An aspiring educator, eager tweeter and FOAM evangelist, she is part of the Social Media GP and FOAM4GP teams, and author of the Nomadic GP blog. A shameless committee-junkie, she currently holds positions with WAGPET, RACGP and RANZCOG. A generalist in life as well as work, she enjoys cycling and running, learning guitar, playing volleyball, bird watching and being an enthusiastic but not very helpful trivia team mate.
Dr Marlene Pearce BSc (Biomed) MBBS DRANZCOG (Basic) FRACGP is a GP from Queensland who works in clinical general practice, with an interest in women’s health, family planning and antenatal care. She authors a reflective blog on general practice at The Doctor’s Dilemma. She is foraying into the world of cross-continental FOAM for the first time, with Dr Penny to guide her through the perils of podcasting. She loves to dabble in creative pursuits (with varying success) and enjoys making a mess in the kitchen or on the craft table.
